Gilda’s Club New York City (GCNYC) works with corporations to create customizable sponsorship opportunities. Corporations can choose to support specific programs for specific cancer diagnoses (such as lung or breast cancer), GCNYC’s support groups, Noogie Nights, publications such as Gilda’s Club New York City’s e-Gildagram, or one of our many special events.
Gilda’s Club New York City has worked with many corporations on successful cause-related marketing collaborations including Barnes & Noble,
La Mer Collections, and Lierac to name just a few.

The Barnes & Noble Community Relations Program supports the fundraising efforts of Gilda’s Club New York City by providing our volunteers with the opportunity to gift-wrap for donations in local stores throughout the year. Barnes & Noble gift-wrapping helps GCNYC raise funds that support our program and provides the opportunity for outreach in the local community.

Our partner, Cars4Causes, makes it easy. Your charitable donation of a car, van, boat, motorcycle will make a world of difference for members touched by cancer and at the same time provide you with an IRS tax deduction. 70% of the net sale amount will come back to our clubhouse. GCNYC is grateful for the volunteer performers of Cherub Improv, who have provided uplifting and entertaining performances for our members (including at our December 2007 holiday party), conducted several educational and interactive improv workshops for adults and separately for children (as part of the Noogieland program) and who participated in our Laughter for Life week during the Summer of 2008.

Through the EIF's annual Revlon Run/Walk for Women in New York City, funding is provided for Gilda’s Club New York City's innovative program creating welcoming communities of free support for everyone living with cancer. GCNYC has been a proud and grateful beneficiary since the inaugural walk in 1998. Funding has been used to help reach an expanding and more diverse membership of women living with cancer in New York City.

FreshDirect’s sponsorship of Gilda’s Club New York City’s social events has been essential to helping further our members’ sense of community. FreshDirect generously donates and delivers food to various social events — ranging from cooking demonstrations to holiday celebrations — throughout the year for Gilda’s Club members.

For the past 4 years, Genentech has sponsored GCNYC’s popular Breast Cancer Lecture Series. This series of seven highly rated lectures is held each October in conjunction with Breast Cancer Awareness Month and includes topics such as How to Read a Breast Cancer Pathology Report, Breast Cancer and the Environment and Natural Options for Breast Reconstruction. All lectures are open to the public and are entirely free of charge to members and non-members.
Getting Hungry (formerly known as Just Delicious). Since GCNYC opened its doors in 1995, Getting Hungry has generously donated snacks, beverages and other food to the Clubhouse. They donate for many events and regularly bring snacks over for our members.

In 2009, ID Media graciously supported Gilda’s Club New York City by donating proceeds from their New York office coffee bar, which they will continue to do in 2010. Employees of ID Media also participate in many Gilda’s Club community events through volunteering.

Purchase this Red Patent Triple Wrap Watch in tribute to our signature red clubhouse door and La Mer Collections will donate 30% of watch sales back to GCNYC.

In 2008, Gilda’s Club NYC embarked on a partnership with LaPerla. Shoppers were treated to refreshments and a 25% discount on their purchases. GCNYC received 10% from the evening events and the following day’s sales. A similar event was held in April 2009.

Gilda's Club NYC is grateful to the New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut Lexus Dealers for their generous support of our free cancer support community. Our members are able to receive the emotional and social support they need in great part due to the support of our local Lexus dealers, and they have graciously agreed to continue this partnership through 2013.

Europe’s anti-aging expert, partnered with GCNYC in the fall of 2009 and hosted a one-day event to benefit our organization. Shoppers were invited to discover the newest innovation in skin care at selected CVS and Duane Reade locations around the country. For every product purchased Lierac donated $1 to our clubhouse.

The Merck Company Foundation has graciously awarded a major gift to GCNYC to fund our Cancer Support and Networking Groups for the Entire Family. This funding will ensure that the program will continue to provide support and networking groups, lectures, workshops, social events and Noogieland for the entire family free of charge.

Novartis Oncology generously sponsored a Breast Cancer Lecture Series at GCNYC. This series of four highly rated lectures included such topics as Exercise After Breast Cancer Treatment, Managing Peripheral Neuropathy and Pain, and An Introduction to Chinese Medicine as Complementary Treatment. All lectures were open to the public and are entirely free of charge to members and non-members.

A longtime supporter, the OSI Pharmaceuticals Foundation, recently sponsored GCNYC’s first annual Lung Cancer Lecture Series. This series of five highly rated lectures includes such topics as Lung Cancer Early Detection – Why It Is So Complicated, Latest Advancements in Lung Cancer Treatment, and Overview of Lung Cancer Symptom Management. All lectures are available to our community and members free of charge. OSI also directly supports more than half of our active members living with lung cancer through our cancer support program which includes networking and support groups, workshops and social events.
In 2009, Physical Equilibrium, New York City’s premiere provider of personal training, nutritional counseling and marathon/triathlon coaching, formed a new partnership with Gilda's Club NYC to become its official marathon training partner for GCNYC’s inaugural ING New York City Marathon team. Physical Equilibrium has graciously agreed to continue this partnership with our 2010 team.

Mona Smith, cancer survivor and GCNYC member, created a line of jewelry inspired by our distinctive, red Clubhouse door and partnered with us starting in 2004 by donating 10% of her sales.
