After cancer treatment ends and your Oncologist informs you that you are in remission or cancer-free, there is sense of relief and hope of continuing your life with no problems. However, life after cancer is often challenged by lingering issues which may include short and long-term side effects of cancer treatment. These side effects can be physical (such as fatigue), emotional (such as anxiety) and practical (such as problems with employment and insurance).
Join with other members in the post treatment phase of their cancer journey to share resources, concerns and experiences.
Open to GCNYC members only. Please call (212) 647-9700 to make a reservation.
