Red Door Community fosters creative expression in many of our healthy lifestyle workshops. Through our exciting music partnership with Theatre Within we bring the John Lennon Real Love Project to our members at our Clubhouse. This workshop series is offered throughout the year to adults, teens and children impacted by cancer. In this instructional music program, trained musicians teach our members guitar playing and song-writing skills.
Through the music of John Lennon, members are inspired to write their own music, sing their truth and enjoy themselves. Participants are those that are living with a cancer diagnosis, caring for a loved one with cancer and/or grieving the loss of a loved one to cancer. Adult members who participate in this workshop are invited to perform at our annual event, An Evening of Creative Expression, which highlights and honors the creativity of our members.
