This year’s Annual Winter Wonderland party was held on Friday, December 7th. Each year, we host this special event to celebrate the holidays with our members. Our vibrant Clubhouse in the West Village was transformed into a Winter Wonderland with beautiful holiday décor on every floor.
Over 140 of our members – children, teens and adults attended for a festive evening of fun, dinner and entertainment. Our beautifully decorated Clubhouse was courtesy of our corporate sponsor, Eisai. In addition to helping us create a magical wintertime space, Eisai provided staff to volunteer during the party.
Every year, we ask our “Noogies” for a wish list of desired gifts and thanks to staff, volunteers and sponsors we were able to grant these wishes at Winter Wonderland! The smiles on each child’s face when presented with their personalized present, which were beautifully wrapped by members of our amazing Junior Associate Board, is priceless.
A full buffet dinner was served and plenty of activities filled the evening including arts projects and gingerbread cookie decorating for the younger members. We are so grateful to The Workshop A Capella for their fabulous musical performance of holiday classics to get the crowd into the holiday spirit. We would also like to thank Magnolia Bakery for their gift of delicious blue and white cupcakes and Starbright Floral Design for their beautiful flower arrangements.
